Intuition Eterno, Colombia
Intuition Eterno is unlike any other yoga retreat in the world. Facilitated by two yoga and theatre professionals (who happen to be best friends), this retreat will take a group of yogis from beach bungalows 2 hours east of Santa Marta on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, to the lush mountains near Medellin in the Antioquia department of the country. Every day will be filled with yoga, improv & dance exercise, meditation, nutritious vegetarian meals, surfing, hiking, group circles and more. Partnering with the Eagle Condor Alliance, Intuition Eterno will participate in optional wachuma and sweat lodge ceremonies to encourage exploration of our spiritual consciousness. Intuition Eterno was created with a mission in mind: to be eco-feminist in principle, holistic in practice, and inclusive to people of all ages and backgrounds. We will explore the lightness and darkness of our femininity, in hopes that we may more fully realize our intuitive nature and connection to the divine forces of Earth… or just have an incredible adventure.

Ghazaleh, a.k.a. Ghazy, began her journey with yoga in 2006, as she transitioned out of a rigorous classical Ballet training. She spent 4 years living in South America connecting to la Pacha Mama. Later feeling the call to India and the East she packed up and began her deep yogic studies in Hatha, Ashtanga, and Kundalini yoga. Immersed in the study of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and Buddhist philosophy, Ghazy believes in the oneness of the universe and that all things come from love. Ghazy combines her Bhakti beliefs with earth connection, and pushes her students to encounter the ecstasy that is only present after one’s limit is met. She teaches in San Francisco and on her travels.
Natalie studied under prominent theater professors and third-wave feminists at Boston College, uniting her passion for the arts and social justice. She built a repertoire of acting techniques including Meisner and Commedia dell'arte, and was involved with various activist groups. After college, she moved to San Francisco to work under the artistic director at Brava Theater for Women in the Arts and as a member of Dark Porch Theatre company. Natalie has performed in experimental plays and independent films, and worked as a touring performer/health educator for Kaiser Permanente in Oakland. She'll offer improv exercises and dramatic expression activities uniting Kinesthetic principles, meditation, and silliness.
Intuition Eterno will spend the first half of the retreat in beach bungalows at the Reserva Natural El Matuy, near Parque Tayrona on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Camping is also welcome. Participants will then travel together to an eco-lodge near Santa Elena, a quaint town outside Medellin in the central region of the country.
