Baja Kayak, Yoga and Whale Adventures

The islands of the Sea of Cortez contain striking natural beauty in a dramatic setting formed by rugged islands with high cliffs and sandy beaches, which contrast with the brilliant reflection from the desert and the surrounding turquoise waters. Start your day on a serene, sandy beach with a 45-minute yoga session. Spend the day sea kayaking, snorkeling, hiking or relaxing. Or take part in a restorative yoga session each evening while your guides prepare your dinner.

This yoga and whale watching adventure will give travelers an opportunity to practice yoga in a natural environment and observe gray whales and their calves in the nursery lagoons of Magdalena Bay on the Pacific coast of Baja. Each day will begin with a yoga session on the beach led by a certified yoga instructor. Then participants will accompany naturalist guides on daily whale watching outings in motorized skiffs. Additional activities will include treks along deserted beaches, bird watching and beachcombing. Each evening begins with a restorative yoga session while guides prepare dinner.

There is also a Baja Sea of Cortez Kayaking & Magdalena Bay Whale Watching Combo Yoga Adventure combining the best of both itineraries. No prior kayak or yoga experience is necessary to enjoy any of these spectacular adventures!

5- or 8-day itineraries are available October-May with minimum of 6 participants. Please inquire about possible scheduled dates or starting a group of your own.
