Holiday River Expeditions Women’s Retreat

We offer women's wellness, health coaching, fitness and yoga into the vacation mix. Our yoga rafting trips for women combine the peaceful meditation of Yoga with the exceptional natural beauty of western rivers. Each morning, we invite you to relax and breathe in the cool fresh air while reflecting upon the steep canyon walls and lush green forests surrounding us.

 

Our Yoga exercises will include practicing postures of strengthening our inner woman while we calm our mind. The peaceful and exquisite rivers are amazing places to restore both body and soul. We invite you to leave all your worries and your busy lifestyle behind and return to a more natural way of life for a few days as we journey down the Green or Colorado River.

Teacher/Yoga

Early in life, Stacy recognized a deep spiritual connection to nature. Growing up recreating in the mountains of Utah, she quickly discovered an inner peace that would arise when she was outside in the natural world. After receiving a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah in 2003, she understood that her spirituality was deeply rooted in both movement and nature. In 2007 Stacy completed her Yoga teaching certification with Dana Baptiste in Salt Lake City, Utah and began developing Earthflow Yoga. Earthflow Yoga is a culmination of Stacy’s life experience. Her classes offer a unique blend of physicality, flow and introspection inspired by the systems and cycles of the Earth. In addition to Yoga, Stacy is trained in Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy and Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Massage. She has traveled to India twice to complete the Level 1 and 2 Oneness Processes and to become a Oneness Trainer. Stacy conducts one on one personal sessions, that integrate Yoga, Hypnosis and the teachings of Oneness to accelerate personal growth and transformation. She is currently pursuing a certification in Kids Yoga and is excited to empower younger generations with Yoga and the teachings of Oneness. Stacy resides in Alta, Utah where she continues to pursue her spirituality and draw wisdom from the natural world. 

 

Retreat Schedule

One of the advantages of a river trip is the flexibility of the daily itinerary. It can vary widely from one trip to the next based on group desires and Mother Nature.

 

Camp and Meals

This trip combines white water rafting with yoga, and the best way to enjoy the outdoors is to be there in comfort. Guests will be camping on lovely sand beaches provided by the rivers of Utah. Three delicious meals are prepared for you daily, and served al fresco! Should you choose to forgo a tent, sleeping under the stars is the way to go.

Meals

Our guides create river recipes into “to die for” meals. Dutch-oven lasagna, salads, fresh salmon or steak, and fresh in season fruits… You will be hungry! Oh yeah, and we do the dishes! Special dietary needs can be accommodated.
